Lolita Vanellope

I LOVE Wreck-it-Ralph. It’s sugary plot, lovable characters, and general insanity are all up my alley. I’m not a huge fan of hoodies though, so I decided to do a summer Lolita take on Vanellope von Schweetz.

The main dress fabric actually has a castle print (‘cuz she’s a princess … even if her song is Slaughter Race). The bows were a task – and they’re heavy – but they represent her ties and stitching. I managed to get her actual skirt represented through the bottom ruffle too!

Such a fun (and quick!) cosplay that works great for Halloween and anime cons.
